Many experienced travelers consider Costa Rica one of the most beautiful countries in the world. It’s hard to dispute. Mountain chains are covered with thick forests, turquoise lakes, picturesque volcanoes, beaches with silver sand, noisy shattering waterfalls, sleepy villages and coffee plantations – when visiting Costa Rica you can feel at full the magic and tremendous energy of the nature!

The temperatures are usually high but in mountainous areas they can drop to 0 º C. So when packing your luggage, think of light cotton clothing. For walks in mountains don’t forget to bring light coat or sweater.

The national currency in Costa Rica is colon but you can easily use US dollars. What is more, most hotels, restaurant and shops accept major international credit cards. You can exchange money at hotels, banks and airports. Remember that other currency exchange offices are illegal.

So mind all the recommendations and come to Costa Rica as this is an extremely beautiful and enchanting country.
